HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!
I hope you have had the opportunity to take some time away from the issues of silica mining although I know many of you have spent many spare moments working on a variety of topics and trying to find ways to combat the invasion into our cities, towns, and counties here in Wisconsin as well as Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan and other states also.
WE BEGIN A NEW YEAR WITH REFRESHED HOPE AND A NEW LOOK AT THE ISSUES!
WORKING TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
JOIN TOGETHER THROUGHOUT THE REGION TO ASSIST EACH OTHER, TO LEARN MORE ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING AND TO BEGIN RESISTANCE TO THE MANY INTRUSIONS THIS INDUSTRY IS BRINGING INTO THE MIDWEST AS WELL AS TO OUR LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
You will find two files of the Frac Sand Sentinel in the attachments. One is in PDF; the other is in Word. Choose the one that is best for you. Feel free to share the newsletters with others in your groups.
There are several important pieces in this newsletter:
1. please donate funds for equipment purposes (there are at least 2 needs) Even small donations will make a difference. Most certainly Dr. Pierce needs the equipment to measure PM 2.5's in the air..........for the health and welfare of all! If no one else will fund this project, then it is up to citizens to do so!
2. learn about the Landsman's Handbook! How revealing although many have been already exposed to the strategies of the mining companies.
3. attend the SUMMIT in Winona-details inside
4. look for other resources that can help you learn more about this very complicated industry and the impact it is having on us all
